Tye Funeral Friday for Rev. A.C. Bell
Funeral for the Rev A.C. Bell, retired Methodist minister of Abilene who died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning of a heart attack at 3:30 p.m. Friday Dr. J.O. Haymes, pastor of St. Paul Methodist church, Dr. J.H. Hamblen, pastor of the First Methodist church and the Rev. T.C. Jackson, pastor of the Caps Methodist church will officiate.
Survivors include his wife; one son, the Rev. A.C. Bell, Jr pastor at Dangerfield; two daughters: Mrs. Bob Tarpley of Dallas and Mrs Jess Robins of Ramonville; three sisters. Miss Lula Bell, 2325 Ruth, Abilene, Mrs. O.W Pettitt of Throckmorton and Mrs. A.J. Jointer of Caps and two brothers, the Rev. J.A. Bell pastor in the Louisiana conference and William Bell of New Mexico. A sister-in-law is Mrs. J.O. Haymes of Abilene.
Local arrangements will be under the direction of Laughter Funeral home and burial will be in the Tye cemetery.
