Glynda, back as far to Lewis Day at least (abt 1779-1852) my Days were still in Iredell Co, NC. I'm told the Iredell Co Days were all related; do you have the NC co. for your John & Henry? Lewis' son Jim may have died in TX but I don't have a place for him. His son Thomas and his son John who was my grt gf were born in Iredell Co but they at least made the trek to TX. John & Addie married in TX abt 1895 and this may have been in Montgomery Co. Their 1st child Vivian, my gm, was born a couple of years later in that area. I don't have places of birth entered for her siblings but in 1913 when Addie died they were in Taylor Co(I have some census reports somewhere also I need to pull out). Their place of burial is actually over the line in Runnels Co. As soon as I can will dig out my info; there was some connection to Comanche Co because that's where a cousin of my dad thought my grt gf died though he moved in with my grandparents when he got ill and then was taken back to west TX for burial. I need to get started back on this line again. You sure have yours back a long ways! I looked on my tree to see if I could locate your names but did not have them either. I have some information shared by a cousin that is not on the computer and need to pull these boxes out.

What I have on computer is James "Jim" Wilburn Day's father was Lewis b. abt 1779 in Spotsylvania, Virginia & died 1852 in Iredell Co. His father was also Lewis but I have no date or places. His wife was Sarah Hanor; his son Lewis' wife was Margaret Sherrill from Lincoln Co NC.

My grt gf's sisters who were also out around Taylor Co married Barrett, Thompson, Presley & Heuermann men. Wish we could tie all these Days together. If I come up with something new will keep you informed and please do the same! Sandra
