Thank you for your response. I have been successful at obtaining copies of many obituaries by contacting public libraries (mostly in Ohio, but also in Florida and Wyoming). Most libraries provide that service for a small fee to cover expenses, and librarians are usually very helpful. I think I'll give the Abilene Library a try.
