Zack L. Potts was born in corinth, Miss. on apr 11, 1863.He married Clemma Talley on December 22, 1887.
Zack and clemma Potts and their children, Eva, Eula, Grover, and Bessie, arrived in Sterling City January 24, 1907. They moved from Paint Rock, Texas by wagon. They operated the Doran Hotel.During the oil boom they lived in Breckenridge where they operated a hotel and then returned to Sterling City. In 1924 Zack was elected Commissioner and later was elected Justice of the Peace. Zack died in 1944 and Mrs. Potts died in 1945 both are buried in Montvale Cemetery, Sterling Co. Tx.
In 1911 Grover Potts opened a dry cleaning business,"Potts Toggery" He added men's weat and made to measure suits. In 1928 he sold the buisness and moved to Big Spring, Tx. Grover was born in Gonzales, Tx. November 19, 1892. m.Belle Lyles September 4, 1921. Grover died August 3, 1966 buried in Montvale Cemetery.
Eula Potts springer Johnson lived in Big Spring, Tx.

Eva Potts Ryan was a resident of Parker,Colorado..don't know anymore about her. Bessie Potts Lounsbury lived in Big Spring.
