RAPPELEY/RAPPLEY RANCH c. 1900-1910

Can anyone tell me where the George Rappley Ranch was located?

All the references I have seen, photos taken as early as 1892, refer to the "Upper Divide, near Sterling." I don't know if this means the town or the county.

My grandfather, Labe Bates (L.B.) HANSON worked on the ranch as a cowboy for several years, and his first four children were born on the ranch. I'm trying to locate them on the 1910 census, but not having any luck so far.

Most of the old folks say the it was located in either Tom Green, Sterling or Coke county, so I am hoping to pin down a location for the ranch.

I need help on this! Thanks,
Harriet Hanson Lora
