There is a J.W. Hawkins (b Jan 14, 1847, d Jan 30, 1912) who was a Confederate soldier buried in the S.C.S. Ellis Cemetery in Stephens County. There is a Marvin Baxter Hawkins (b 1871, d 1950) buried in the Necessity Cemetery, also in Stephens County. His wife, Malissa Nancy, is buried beside him...her dates are Dec 7, 1882 - Apr 24, 1941. There are other Hawkins as well as numerous Knights buried in that cemetery. I know this doesn't answer your specific question, but I hope it helps. Let me know if you want info on the other Hawkins or Knights buried there.
