I think the Walls in Itawamba Co, MS are his people. I can only look at the 1860 census and Joseph 12 is in the Brooke household next to a Wall family that could be his. He is on the index for 1850, too. If you or someone can look at Ancestry.com and find him as a two year old, you'll probably have his parents for sure.
