I guess my Nancy Strikland was born in 1847 and was probably the wife of R Strickland b. 1847. I am interested in the land transaction cited above between her and B M Mcfadin because the low price for the land seems to indicate she is a relative/in-law . Also, there are some Mcfaddins who liv3ed in the Shelby County and in Panola County, Tx at the time of the Regulator wars. These Shelby County people were living amongst Strickland there and were intermarried , I guess. The same lineage of Shelby County Mcfaddens were linked with Stewarts in land transaction later on in Somervell/Erath. I have been trying to link these people up, and or get smore information clarifying the relationships. Whereever they were born Somervell County Stricklands may all be related. I would like to exchange info.
