Glynda, so good to hear from you. You list C P's name as Csoni (?); I have found him listed as Crone in the 1900 & 1910 Smith Co census (at least that is what it looks like) but mainly he went by C P. Anyway, I believe C P to be the son of John W & Elizabeth Williams which makes him my g-grandfather's (Thomas Benjamin) brother. In the 1860 Panola Co census and the 1870 Rusk Co census, C P is listed as Perviance. William S (Billy) is the oldest brother. Perviance (the older) Williams was the uncle to Billy, Thomas B and C P and the brother to John W.
C P was a witness for Billy on his Civil War pension - did not state that he was his brother. Billy and C P both were witnesses on Thomas' widow's (Josephine) pension.
I have just completed DNA testing using my maternal uncle and we match with the DNA testing performed on Perviance (Uncle) line. Keep in touch
