Thomas Alexander "Alex" Colvin was born about 1840 in Greene Co., AL. Listed in the census in Greene Co. and was age 10.
On 1/27/1859, Alex married Nancy Ann Grant in Smith Co., TX.
1860 census (July, 1860) shows Thomas A. and Nancy A. living in Brownsboro, Henderson Co., TX, with daughter, Mary A. Colvin.
Alex reportedly died on 7/12/1862 in Smith Co., TX.
Nancy had two subsequent marriages and lived in Louisiana for period of time before returning to Wood Co., TX.
Alex's parents, Charner (1803-??) & Mary Colvin (1803-??), reportedly buried in the Barron Cemetery, Coleman Community, Smith Co., TX.
Looking for burial place for Alex Colvin - probably Smith County - possibly Barron Cemetery.
Please search cemetery books for Alex (1840-1862).
