Hello Smith County Genealogists
I have been searching for the burial site of Patrick Hale Senter and his first wife, Martha. I have been able to find Martha's grave in the Starrville Cemetery in Smith County. She died at age 30 in March 1855.
After Martha died, Patrick (born 1822 in Tenn.)remained in Smith County, Texas and married Nancy Jane Wells in November 1855. He died April 1863, just one month after being release from the 22nd. Infantry.
After a long search, I have been unable to find where Patrick Hale Senter is buried or even the cause of death.
I know there are ancestors out there who have the answers and I am hoping very much to here from someone so I can put this search to rest.
