Missing Family

I am seeking contact with anyone that has knowledge about this family that was on the 1870 census for Smith Co TX. They seemed to have 'vanished' after that census.

Troupe, Smith Co TX D/F 87 pg 207
THOMPSON, Thomas 45 b GA w. Mary 44 b GA
c. Leeny 22 idiotic James 21 Reuben 18 Sarah and William 16 (twins?) all b GA.

I believe that dght Susan was the one that married Lycurgus Jarvis in 1875 in Smith Co TX. I have run the names of all the family for the censuses that cover 1850 through 1900 with no results. I have checked the other records that are on the internet with zero success. Had they all died soon after the 1870 census then it seems likely that some of them might be listed in a cemetery in Smith Co.

I will truly appreciate any leads to help me find data on the above family. I would like to know where they lived in GA before moving to TX.

Regards, Bettye
