Hello-You might contact the library in TYLER(genealogy department)-I recall back some time ago they were clipping obits from the newspaper-but I don't know how far back that was that this was being done or if they may have older obits already the NEWSPAPER in Tyler may have BACK issues that you can buy if by chance her obit was published(if you have an idea when she was buried? Also since you are a relation-you can call/write~> Tyler SMITH COUNTY COURT HOUSE(or Austin.Texas)-see if her death certificate is on file to find where she is buried in Smith Co.-her death certificate would tell WHO reported her death info/and where she is buried ( PLUS mabe she just died there in Smith Co.Texas and is buried elsewhere in another county?) Just some suggestions-I am not related to this family line...<L.Nance>
