My name is Eddie Cox ,my wife is looking for her gr,gr uncle that is in the 1860 census in Starrville,Smith Co. and is supost to have died around May27, 1866 . Their is an argument on where he is buried in Smith Co. or in Ill.. We have his wife, Sarah, have a daughter after his death, Bobby, born in 1867, then Sarah and the children moving to Comanche Co where Sarah died on 14 Feb. 1900 in the Gustine Community.
Can anyone tell us if Robert Whatley Johnson is buried in the Starrville Cem. or any of the Cem. in Smith Co.
Thank you for your time , Have a great weekend

Eddie Cox
