I am looking for descendants of Sidney O. Pennington who was a Representative to the Republic of Texas during the time of Oct. 3, 1836 and early 1837. He was from Shelby County. We are dedicating a beautiful park with 20 historical stations, native plants and walking path to the history that happened at that time in Texas. Would love to have descendants of Sidney O. Pennington to attend the dedication of the "Capitol of Texas Park - A Walk through the Birth of Texas" on April 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. in West Columbia, Texas.
