I am researching Michael Ray Bass b. 1950 in Shelby Co., TX. Has a brother named Earl. I searched online Shelby Co., TX records and found a Haskell Earl Bass b. 1949. His parents were Nera Ellis bell and father was Kenneth E. Bass. I am thinking this may be who I looking for. Just hoping someone has run across them in their searches or may know of them. My grandson is a Bass (age 12) and is curious about his father's genealogy.
I was told by the ex-wife of Michael Ray that he was adopted and his birth name was eith Baird/Beard. From what she said, she believes there was a total of 8 children and both parents were involved in an accident and died. So the children were adopted and their names were changed. Would like to learn if this is true and who the other siblings are of Michael Ray Bass.
