Sanford, Samford, I am LOST!! 1850-present!

I am researching the Sanford line from Shelby COunty, I am looking for Ruffus, he was born in the 1850's and married Joanna Janes Eaves.
I am hoping to find someone else out there that is researching and trying to wade through the 1850, 1860 shelby county census and identify the folks in it. The ones that only used initials are driving me nuts!
I just know that my Ruffus is there, but cant find him!
He named a son Absolum so I am sure he is kin to the rest of the clan that was there.

If you are researching this line please contact me, I am lost and would like to find out more about the family!

If you have actually reserached out your line that was in Shelby in the mid to late 1800's please let me know, maybe it will help eliminate some of these I have!
Thanks
