MYRICK & REAVIS, 1850 Shelby Co., TX
Posted by: Peggy Brannon Date: September 29, 2001 at 22:08:49

I just received a copy of the death certificate for Alice REAVIS FOREHAND, wife of James Martin Forehand. The certificate shows her place of birth as Shelby Co.,TX; her mother's maiden name was MYRICK. No POB listed for either of her parents. Alice REAVIS FOREHAND was b Apr 8, 1857 and d Jul 14, 1942; the informant was Mrs. Gela F. Harkey of Irving, TX.
I believe that Alice REAVIS is the sister to my grgrandmother, Martha O. REAVIS. I believe that their parents are William F. REAVIS and Dorothy S. MYRICK m. 1849 in Maury Co.,TN. The 1850 Shelby Co., TX census has William F. REAVIS age 25 b NC and Dorothy age 19 b TN. Any help appreciated.
Thanks - Peggy (peggybrannon@hotmail.com)
