Hello,
I am having an awful time tracing Samuel F. Cook and his siblings [if any] and many of his children.
Family records show his being married to Sallie Bennett, and indeed she is buried in the Albany Cemetery, along with a number of other Cook folks, but I don't know who belongs to who.
I show that Sallie and Sam had a son named Frank born 1884 in Albany. At that time Sam was supposedly the editor of the Albany News. However, I have been unable to confirm the news paper connection.
Does anyone have any additional information about their children? Perhaps a Thomas and a Hattie or even a Louis?
Any help would be appreciated.
