Legrand Pratt and Mary Alice "Mollie" Smith McMullen Pratt

I am looking for information on Legrand Pratt and his wife Mary Alice "Molly". It is belived that they lived in the Deer Creek area 1880-1890. Their daughter Alice was born in San Saba County in 1882/1883. Legrand Pratt was issued one of the first water rights in San Saba County around 1880 for his truck farm. There was a dispute and trial and he was found innocent.(I think)Does anyone have information on the trial? Is there a historical society? Mary Alice is a brick wall. Any information will be helpful. The family moved to New Mexico about 1889/1900.
