George Washington Walters (born 8-4-1835 in (I think) Decatur Co., Tn, married E.E. (Emily Elizabeth I think) Steagald on 5/1/1859, died 10-20-1917 and is buried in San Saba. He was my great grandfather on my father's side. He had at least two boys and 1 girl. The boys were G.A. (Ab) Walters who was a lawyer for many years in San Saba, Charles W. Walters (my grandfather), and Lula Montgomery (Mrs. S.S.). Great Uncle Ab had at least one son (G.A. -- also known as Ab) who was a lawyer. I hope this helps. I am just now getting back to my genealogy after a 15 year "rest".
