Got started on this because there are Wileys buried in my family (Terry) cemetery. Having time on my hands, I found a Van J. Wiley in the 1880 census in Lampasas County (next to San Saba), 22 year old laborer living in the house of a Dr. Smith. Bulls are very prolific in that county, girls in the right age group are Dorcas L. (17), Emily (17), Georgie Ann (14) and Sarah P. (19). Ambrose Bull in 1880 was 74, with a 48 year old wife, no daughters at home. In 1870 he had two, Sarah (22) and Lovey (20), but they would be too old in 1880. You should troll around in that area.
