Coplin Family In San Saba County

New to this forum so I just get to the point. I'm trying to locate any information on the Benjamin Coplin family that resided in San Saba Country in the 1880's. He and his wife Nancy Ann (Sutton) and children Cornelia, Margaret, Lenora, and Thomas show up on the 1880 US Census. He was 49 years of age and is listed as a Herding Sheep for an occupation. His wife Nancy may have been of American Indian heritage and was 38 years old on that date. I can find where they were married in Newton Texas in May of 1861. I think they may have moved farther west to avoid the War. I would appreciate anything about him or his son Thomas (my grandfather) who was only 1 month old in June of 1880.

Thanking you in advance,

Bill Yates
