The Gamblins and Fosters intermarried all the way from South Carolina, through Alabama, Mississippi, Hopkins County, Texas and eventually to San Saba, McCulloch, and Coryell Counties. Most came from the William Thomas Foster & Lucy Stribling families and the Martin P Gamblin & Elizabeth Foster families. Several brothers and sisters and cousins married within these two families over at least three generations and are related to the same cousins several times.

My boyfriend's great-great uncle Bert Martin born possibly in Lavaca County, TX and living in San Saba County, Texas married Brittie Lee Foster. What's funny is that his family and mine aren't even from the same part of Texas, and yet we have common cousins who are the descendants of Bert and Brittie Lee Foster Martin. They are buried in Richland Springs. This is Brittie's line:

William Thomas Foster & Lucy Henderson Stribling/William Cornealous Foster/John Cornealous Foster/Brittie Lee Foster m. Bert Martin.

You can find Martin P & Elizabeth Foster Gamblin's families and William Thomas & Lucy Henderson Stribling Foster's families all over the trees of ancestry.com Just plug in any of these names.
