No help on your Holt questions I'm afraid.

I'm also looking for Holt information, my Great
Great Grandfather Robert M. Hanna lived in the
Holt area around that same time period and I
haven't found a lot about the community.
My Great Great Grandfather Robert died there
about 1916, he reportedly was the town blacksmith
and a notary public for the town.

I drove through Holt a few years back and
did not see a whole lot there, maybe I didn't
look in the right places.

The next bigger town is Bowser Texas, you
might try looking there for info on your family.

Please let me know if you find anything on Holt
and especially if you find anything on the Hanna
family there, thanks!
