I have 2 Davis lines in Georgia. They spread out all over. Mine went west, but a lot stayed. They were in Cherokee Indian area of North Ga in the late 1700's and early 1800's. Wilkes, Jackson and Hall Co.s Rome, Ga is in what was the Cherokee country too. Was her people there earlier ? Just about all of my lines came through Georgia and I have a lot of Georgia records. Can I look something up for you ?
