The McGowen-Seals family tree shows Alonzo's wife as Eldorado Millender b. 1849, AL.

"He married Eldorado Millender in Alabama."

I'd look for his marriage license in Coosa County, AL. I didn't find it in Ancestry or FamilySearch.

There isn't a genealogical society in San Jacinto county. You can contact the Coldspring Area Public Library, or 936-653-3104 and ask if they'll copy his obituary.

You can contact the San Jacinto County Clerk, for a copy of his death certificate. Successful Searching!
