Hi,

I am trying to determine whether there are extant newspapers for the San Jacinto County region for the early 1900s. I am trying to find obituaries for this mother/daughter who both died after 1900:

1) Mary E. Smith (maiden name: Scarborough), born 1835/1840 in Alabama, married first a Morgan, then a McElyea, finally to a Smith. Lived in San Jacinto Co TX in 1900

2) Nancy I. Martin, born March 1858 in Florida, (maiden name Morgan) married first to W. C. Moffett, then to George F. McElroy, then to John W. Martin. Nancy died after 1900, when she lived with her mother in San Jacinto County.

Thanks

Tim
