Partial explanation on conflicting information.
I have decided that I misinterpreted some information and have had the wrong information for the past 15 years.
The Marriage Record Index of San Jacinto Co, TX does have Jake or Jacob MOODY m.18 Feb 1914 to Luella ALSOBROOKS.
I thought this was my g.grandfather, Jacob C. MOODY. He did marry about this time to a second wife. I have decided that this was NOT his wife. He married Nellie CRANE, whose first husband was William LUM.
Instead this is Jacob A. MOODY, the first cousin of my g.grandfather.
PROBLEM still exists -- who is Luella ALSOBROOKS? I had Jacob A. MOODY's as Luella McIlvain. So I still have some conflicting information.
Luella ALSOBROOKS or McILVAIN was born 24 Aug 1894 and died 26 Jul 1983, Montgomery Co, TX.
