Yes, San Augustine has a library with a genealogy section and there is usually a very helpful lady on duty to help. They have census records, newspaper records and some family info on file. There are several books available on local history. San Augustine resident and Tribune contributor Harry Noble is especially knowledgable. Thanks Lamar Anthony, Nacogdoches
