Hello, thanks for the note about Isaac and the info on your line. I didn't have them put into my database, so I stopped and researched them so I oculd add them and see where your Alice fit. Have her in now. Unfortunatley, I do not have any Whitton's in my work. I have just my Thacker line. Matter of fact, I added a tiny piece of information ot Isaac just today, a SC land grant bit. I have never learned where Isaac and Mary are buried, but it's supposed to be in a cemetery I know about, the problem being there is no headstone, so no help. But, I have been able to get he and his wife both documented now for Daughters of the Republic of Texas, my goal back then. Still, I look further up their trees now. I saw some early Whitton's in the Nacogdoches area on census on Ancestry, thought maybe they might be an early part of yours, and another than had both a Robert and a Frank in a family in Van Zandt Co, all here in Texas. If you have not done so, get the death records on all your grandparents, as the person who supplied the death record information might have put on it their parents and parents birth places. Usually it's there, but not always. Still, it's a basic thing we have to do, getting those certificates. Good luck to you.
