Pat - don't think William F would be mine. He's 4 years too young and from Mississippi.

One reason he might have been in San Augustine is that his first wife, Nancy Roberta Horton was born there in 1837 and might have died there in 1865. Can't seem to find Nancy's father, Samuel Horton, in the 1870 census either.
