Thanks for the information and the wonderful photos.

As for John Robert Clark, I know very little. He was the actual reason for my posting on this site. I have the 1900 & 1910 Angelina County Census records in which he appears. In the 1900 census, John Robert & Alice Weaver Clark are listed along with 8 of their children. Directly next to John Robert is Brown Clark and living with him is his wife, Texana, their children, a Benjamin T. Clark (listed as a brother), and Mary A. Clark (listed as his mother). An assumption on my part is that Mary A. is mother to John, Benjamin, & Brown. The men were listed as being born in Texas while Mary's place of birth was listed as Tennessee.

The Angelina County, Texas Marriage Records, 1846-1899 list the marriage W.B.O. Clark and Texana Manly as having married on September 13, 1891 in Angelina Co.. John Robert & Alice V. Weaver Clark married on April 8, 1883 in Newton Co.

"Brown" Clark, Benjamin Clark, and Mary A. Clark do not appear in the 1910 census, only John Robert and his family.

There are names that are repeated in this Clark family - Rueben, Isaac, John, etc...I am hoping to locate another Clark descendant with connections to this family. Any help you can provide is appreciated.
