Harriet married (1) Robert Callier/Collier in 1815 in Clarke Co. AL. They moved to the Sabine Dst. where he was murdered by his brother and his daughter's boyfriend in about 1824. He and Harriet had one child together, John Finley Callier, and he had several children by his first wife. John S. Roberts married Harriet shortly after Robert's death. Robert had been wealthy and Harriet inherited much, including a portion of the Old Stone Fort. John S. Roberts adopted John F. by an act of the Republic.
I am interested in the book you mention. Does it have more information on Robert Callier, the murder, and what became of the Callier children, including John F., now a Roberts. Thanks for any help.
