Travis, Latham, Bickham, Blackburn, these are all surnames of people that lived and died in Sabine County within the last 100 years. I'm looking for information on them. Wm. Euel and Suda Latham (Wm. died in 1961 and Suda died in 1997). Zurada Bickham Travis died in 1923. Susan Blackburn Bailey died in 1924. Martha Cole Blackburn died in April 1889 and is buried in the Old Brookland Cemetary in Brookland, TX.
The Latham's, Travis' and Bailey's are all buried in the Bronson Cemetary, just outside Brookland, TX off Hwy. 96. Zurada's brother, Hardy Alexander Bickham (married Mary McBride) is buried in Sabine County as well.
These people are my East Texas roots and I want to know more about them.
