R.B. Vise, d. 1862 Rusk Co.TX.; Descendants Proof of Heirship

H.F. Goodlett and Joe Goodlett, both reputable citizens of Rusk County, have been residents of said State and County since 1860, that they were well acquainted with R.B. Vise, who died about the year 1862 and his wife, Mary Vise, more commonly called Polly Vise, who died about the year A.D. 1896, as well as six children, viz: Eli Vise, Harry Vise: now deceased; Mrs. Julia Busby, now the wife of Joe Busby, and formerly the wife of Elias Crim; Mrs. Mary Vinson, now deceased, wife of John D. Vinson; W.M. Vise: and John H. Vise, that they have been closely associated and intimately acquainted with said family since the year, 1860, and to their certain knowledge, there were but the six children. That the said Mary or Polly Vise, after the death of the said B.R. Vise, again married, marrying one W.W. Jones, but that there were no children from this marriage.

Next: W.G. Culp, a reputable citizen of Rusk Co., says he has been a resident citizen of the State and County for 38 years and that he is well and intimately acquainted with the family of John D. Vinson, that the wife of John D. Vinson, Mary A. Vinson, now deceased, was a sister of J.H. Vise and daughter of B.R. Vise, deceased; that the said Mary A. Vinson is survived by only three children, viz: B.F. Vinson, Jim Vinson: and Mrs. Maggie Bassett, wife of S.H. Bassett, that if there were other children, depondent does not have any knowledge of such.

Next: W.G. Culp vouches for Henry Vise, now deceased, that the said Henry Vise was survived by a family of children consisting of two children, who lived to reach their majority, they being: Eva Romans, wife of D.T. Romans and Malissa Vise. Other children of Henry Vise died before reaching their majority and were without issue.
