Barbara: I have a Sarah Sarena Birdwell that married into
my family twice. She first married John Alexander Weatherly of Nacogdoches Co. and had a son and a dau. Both
chilldren died in a few yrs. John died in a Civil War
prison in Camp Douglas, IL, where a bro. had died a yr.
before. Sarah and Job moved to Chandler, TX but was buried
in Concord, Smith Co., TX. Sarah, 5-7-1836,died-11-24-1894. Job died 4-7-1914,and buried in Concord also.

In my family book I found another, and these Birdwells may
lead you to your connections. The Jim below could be Sarah's uncle, the bro. of her father. The book did not
say what state where each were born.

There was also a Jim Birdwell that married Sarah Mitchell in Nac., TX. They had a dau. Margaret Jane Birdwell, d-11-1894. She married William McCorkle Watkins, had 4 daus. by
him and one son that died young.

The Jim could be James for short. This is not much but may
lead to something you need.
