I am looking for information on Travis Frances Mixon. I believe he is the son of Jehu and "Piney" Mixon. He first married Nancy Boggs and had John 1845GA, Hannah 1847GA, and Mary 1849TX. He moved to Rusk Co., Texas and married Emily Ferguson. They had children William 1855, Bennett 1856, and Nancy 1858.
He joined the CSA as a blacksmith, Rusk CO, Co B, 3rd Tx Cavalry Reg.
I can not find any information for wife Emily after 1860 census.
I can not find any information on what happen to Travis after he joined the war.
Son William in living with the Robt. Hall family in 1870 going to school. He later married Sarah Cook and lived in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area.
Hannah marries G.W.Griggs and Mary is living with her.
Bennett married Dora Pendelton and lives in Dallas.
Any help will greatly appreciated.
