Searching for any information regarding the following Salmon/Sammon family. Willing to share and exchange.

John Lewis Salmon was born October 10, 1811, probably in Greenville County, South Carolina. John Lewis Salmon was the son of William E. Sammons and wife Laura.

John Lewis Salmon married about 1844, Martha Linchicum (perhaps mis-spelled).

The Salmons lived in Rusk County, Texas for a period of time and John Lewis Salmon died May 25, 1880 in Rusk County.

Children of John Lewis Salmon and Martha Linchicum were:

William George (born about 1849)
Susan Elizabeth (b July 21, 1851)
John Byrd (born April 1, 1854)
Edwin Remus (born September 1, 1856)
Martha (born March 10, 1859)
Fannie B. (born November 23, 1861)
Wilburn March (born December 28, 1865)
