Thank you for your reply on the Bartons and your offer to look up material in your personal files. No, I don't have any information on Pyle who married Harriet Rachel Barton. I did go to the Upshur Co. Texas web site and they have a lot of information. I checked some marriages and some cemeteries but did not find Volonia Elmira Barton or any Pyles. This web site states that the County Courthouse for Uphsur County burned in 1888 and they were not sure if all the marriage records were saved.
