We are searching for additonal information regarding the descendants of Martha "Hallie" (Gannaway) Turner who married Walter Hill Turner on March 22, 1901 at Wingate, Runnels County, Texas. Eleven (11) children were born of their union: Dee Turner, Eunice (Turner) Richey, Pauline (Turner) Hardesty, Lorene (Turner) Owens, Elizabeth (Turner) Sullivan, Jeanne (Turner) Weaver, Billie C. Turner, Walter Jack Turner, Ada Nell (Turner) Vineyard, Mary Lee Turner, and Thelma (Turner) Winder. Walter Hill Turner was a Texas Ranger.

Additionaly, we are searching for information for her sister, Mildred "Millie" Ursula (Gannaway) Turner who married Joe Turner at Wingate, Runnels County, Texas. Joe Turner was raised in Hill County, Texas. Like his brother Walter, Joe Turner was a Texas Ranger. We believe the Turner brothers were assigned to John R. Hughes' Frontier Battalion

Both Joe & Mildred "Millie" Ursula (Gannaway) Turner died and were buried at Wichita County, Texas.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Spring, Texas
