Old Miles Public School Building

There is a photograph on an old Miles Postcard which shows a Miles Public School Building. This photo is in the Photographs section of this Runnels Co. Tx Genealogy Website. I went to the Miles Public School in a red brick two story building in the 1940's graduating from the newer school in 1957. The building shown in this old photo is not the same as the one I went to in the 1940's
Does anyone remember or have information on an earlier school, possibly made of rock rather than brick?
