There is a grave in northeast Runnels Co. along side FM382 south of Content. Thr grsve is msrked with a metal funeral marker ALEX SIMMONS, CONFEDERATE VETERAN. Anyone with information please let us know the Runnels County Historical Commission,the Sons of Confederate Veterans would like information about who he was,the military unit he served with ,why w3as he buried beside the road, his family, etc.
