Hi Ann,

I noticed you had kindly volunteered to look in the cemetery for Flora Casteel for another person. I am researching the Rockwall County Casteel family for my coworker.

Flora was my coworkers grandmother. She died in childbirth 26 Dec 1927 and her death certificate states she was buried in Heath, Texas. It does not state an actual cemetery.
My co-workers grandfather, James Monroe Casteel was born in Heath, Rockwall County, TX but is buried in Dallas.

After the death of Flora, the oldest son William A. Casteel went to live with an Aunt and the baby was raised by a different Aunt. The middle children were sent to an orphanage in Oklahoma.

If you ever run across Casteel information in the Heath area I would love for you to forward it to me. I'll add it to the papers I am collecting.
