Hello, Jacqueline -

I just happened upon your posting via a Google search. I just came back from our family's 60th Homecoming in Hearne this weekend.

Are you a Moody family member?

In any case, if you're on Facebook, you can look me up by name and friend request me. I'll be posting pictures from this weekend's event.

Lafayette Moody's son, Lawrence (Lon) Moody married my great-grandmother, Minnie Ola Williams-Moody, in 1931. They had my 10 children, one of which is my grandmother, Thelma Moody-Johnson. She married a man from Calvert (Spring Hill) named Jack W. Johnson. They had five children, one of which is my mother, Jeannette Johnson, and she married Clarence Eldridge, Jr., and they had one child, me. Therefore, I am Lafayette Moody's Great-great-great-granddaughter.

I hope this connection may help you with what you're looking for.
