Would any of your Robertson Co Smith's be related to Robert (75) and Nancy N. Smith(?) 1900 census, Robertson Co. Precinct5; Robert and Nancy N. Smith. Robert b. 1824 Nancy N. 1822. Their daughters; Elisabethb.1849 (widowed) and Frannie (Frances)b.1857. **In earlier Franklin Co, TN census, there's a Mary Smith,b.abt 1855, daughter, but by the time the Smith's get to TX, there's no Mary and they have a widowed daughter with grandchildren**. Also in the home, Albert (Elbert)Smith, grandson, Ella Nora Smith Bird (Byrd, my gg Grandmother) and George Smith grandson. Ella is married to Thomas E. Bird (Byrd), they had TS Byrd and Fred Byrd. Ts Byrd married Beualah Gray (?) when she was 14 years old b.1916. Ts and Beualah had Herman Byrd and Emery Faye Byrd. Beaulah (spelling) later divorced TS and married someone with the last name of McKinney. Thomas E. Byrd died in 1903 from a hunting accident. Ella remarried John W. Wiley 1904 and had another daughter, Sallie Victoria. Ts, Fred and Sallie Victoria are buried in the White Rock Cemetery, Robertson Co. TX. Robert and Nancy Smith had 5 children, by 1900 TX they had two living.
