Jackson's in Robertson County

My grandparents, Robert S. and Louella M. Jackson lived in Franklin, Robertson Co, TX. When I was a child back in the 1940's I can remember hearing that my grandmother worked at "The Sewing Room". Can anyone tell me what the "sewing room" was? All I know is that it had to be in the town of Franklin because she would have had to walk to work. As far as I know they never owned a car.
