Your information seems very likely. I am sorry that I can't add anything. Fielding was my mother's grandfather, but he died before she was born. My mother and her sister, tried to find his burial place, but were unable to do so. It seems it was called Big Sandy or something like that. He is listed on the Texas 1870 Census, as 50 year old farmer, born in Tennessee, and married to Mom's grandmother, Mary Jane. They were living near Pennington, in Trinity County in 1870. I did not know he was married before and am very interested in that. I have tried to trace the family in Tennessee and found lots of their family there, but unable to determine much more than that. There were several Fielding Lows, different ages, in the same area. Very confusing! I know he joined the Confederate Army in LA. He served 1863-1865 and he married Mary Jane, a widow due to the Civil War, in 1868. Please keep in
