I am looking for information about the marriage of Asa M. Wolf and Myra Smith which took place in Robertson County on 2 Jul 1875. I know that this was the second marriage for Mr. Wolf as he was married to Sarah Adams, daughter of John Quincy and Elizabeth Avarillo Tinnin Adams. I believe the first marriage took place in Izard County AR as Asa's first child, a daughter Georgia A. Wolf was born in AR in 1864. Evidently Asa and his wife Sarah Adams came to Texas with Sarah's parents and perhaps she died in the county. Their second child a son Urah Lee Wolf was suppose to be born in TX in 1869. I believe the Adams wagon train came to Texas in 1867. They were in Milam, Bell, and Coryell counties, also. I have no idea who the parents of Myra Smith were but the marriage records shows they married in Robertson County. She and Asa are found in Coryell County for the 1880 census and have a son Wilie age 4 and a daughter Mittie age two. Parents of Asa M. Wolf were George Washington and Malinda McFelch Wolf. G.W. Wolf also had two daughters who married and lived in Milam County. Sarah Jane Wolf married Dr. J.P.H. Wallis and Jane Wolf married Dr. Sapp of Cameron, TX. George Washington Wolf had a sister Amanda Wolf Tinnin of Bell and Bosque counties and he had a half braother, Martin Jefferson Wolf of Anderson County.
