The Robertson County TXGenWeb website is loaded with historical and genealogical information relating to the county and its residents. This information is available free-of-charge, 24/7 to anyone with a computer and Internet access. The good Lord willing and the creek don't rise, this website will remain a valuable free public resource in the years ahead.
This website is NOT funded by any government, corporate, or public interest entity. It is totally dependent upon volunteer efforts and volunteer contributions. All of the information on this site is here courtesy of volunteers who have contributed considerable time and money to bring resources online. But, there is only so much a limited number of hard-working volunteers can accomplish by themselves. Your financial support is needed to help this public service effort realize its full potential.
A high priority is to place all available U.S. Census records online. To this end, the Robertson County Historical Commission's Census Project seeks financial contributions from public-spirited county residents and friends. All money collected will go directly towards placing additional materials online.
One volunteer purchased the 1850, 1860, 1870, & 1880 census records; the Robertson County Historical Commission purchased the 1890 Veterans & 1900 census records. Three more census years - 1910, 1920, & 1930 - need to be purchased and placed online. Having these census years online will greatly assist local residents, genealogists, educators, historians, researchers, reporters, students, and others with an interest in Robertson County's rich cultural heritage.
Census Project Funding Goal: $840
Total Census Project Online Contributions To Date: $5
